What do you use to paint pictures on windows?

I want to paint holiday scenes on our glass windows but i don't know if you have to use a specail paint or you mix something with the paint. Any help will be greatly appreciatedWhat do you use to paint pictures on windows?
use acrylic paint or tempera paints....put a drop or two of dish washing detergent (like Dawn or Fairie) in the paint, it helps when it is time to clean the windows. I paint murals, and I always use this method when painting windows. What do you use to paint pictures on windows?
special window paint you can get it @ a local walmart
water based acrylics are best. they come in a huge variety of brilliant colours and they come off fairly easily when you are ready to remove them.

merry christmas!
I'm a sign writer, and for the type of thing you're wanting to do, use acrylic paints. If you are painting the exterior of the glass, use a flat, white, water based undercoat first, it will mean less coats of paint, and the colours will be much richer. If you are painting from the interior, paint your picture, then go over it with a coat of undercoat for the same reason.

If you wanted to use the proper glass paints, during the day from inside your house, it will resemble a stained glass window, and at night it will look like that from outside the house when your lights are on, inside. These cost a little more, but it depends on the effect you want.
You can use acrylic craft paints. They will wash off later or scrape off with a razor blade. If you want something more permanent, look for glass paint at the craft store.
