Anybody have experience with painting windows with Tempura paint?

Will there be more coverage if I let the first coat dry and then do another? Will there be allot of coverage if I put on several coats?Anybody have experience with painting windows with Tempura paint?
I haven't had much exp. w/ using tempura paints....but it would seem like glass paint would be better to use. Which you can checkout like 8 different kinds on dick blicks website for art supplies. I would probably go w/ acrylic over the tempura though on the glass....i think that coverage has nothing to do w/ having your coats dry. Of course its always good to start sparse, let dry, and add on...you can always add more paint, but you cannot take away. :) Good luck glass painting can be a challenge!

EDIT. LOL I meant Tempra too hee hee i saw how u spelled it and just well the brain did that all on its own, lol...tho tempura can be tasty! ok back to work.Anybody have experience with painting windows with Tempura paint?
You can try tempera, but glass paint will work much better. Get it from any major art/craft store or website: Dick Blick, Utrecht, Michael's, A.C. Moore, Pearl, whatever is in your area.
Tempra is paint, Tempura is food. Anyway, go with the acrylic. Tempra will flake off too easily, and if you try to double coat it you'll just wind up mixing the 2 layers. If you want it to be permanent use 1 Shot, It's a sign painters oil base paint. And as Triple Threat says get it from Dick Blick.
It depends on if your just doing flat shapes or if your doing dif/ value ranges. Tempura drys really fast and if your doing flat shapes then two coats will work. I've done lions and apes and various animals. Doesn't take much to get the whole window blocked out. When your trying to get it a 3-d feel your have to mix and mix fast!

Good luck
