The best way to remove paint overspray from windows?

When I moved into my new house it hadn't been cleaned and there is a lot of paint from a spraygun on the windows. Most of it is light and thin but then there are a few quite big drips as well. Some of the windows are textured (bathroom windows). I don't want to scratch them at all....anyone know of an easy and safe way to remove it? Thanks in advance!The best way to remove paint overspray from windows?
Wet the windows really well and use a razor scraper;

You must keep the window wet or it will scratch badly.

You can also buy a product called Erase from Zep Co.

(look in the yellow pages). Spray it on and scrape off. Be sure to keep wet. After wards use Windex to clean well.

I would complain to the builder, as the final cleaning is usuall factored in for a price. Also, if they do it and scratch any windows, they are responsible for replacing them. Hope this helped.

Use a razor blade, it will scrap the paint right off. I don't know how well it will work on a textured window though.
You can try using a product called ';Goof Off';. They have it at Home Depot. A regular razor blade window scrapper will work on all regular windows.
I use a scraper with a single edge razor blade in it, or just the blade itself.
i would use paint thinner wipe some on the paint and was a min then wipe it off it may take a little elbow grease depending on how much paint is on there just use junk rags that you can throw away scrapers wont work on textured windows just wear gloves when using the paint thinner
either paint thinner on an old rag... that will take a while and some elbow grease or a razor blade, you should not scratch the window as long as you do it gently.
soap and hot water
A razor blade scraper is the tool for this job. The bathroom windows require a little more elbow grease. Use grease (vegetable oil), and with a paper towel apply this onto the window quite heavily, wait a couple of hours, and wash with soapy hotwater. Should work.
