I know deleted items can be recovered, but how about images from ';windows paint';?

Keep in mind, these are images drawn and etc. that are eraced or covered over by other charactors.I know deleted items can be recovered, but how about images from ';windows paint';?
Yes and, mostly, no.

The files can be recovered if you just delete them. However, MS Paint has no crash recovery for any version I've used.

And it is very, very, very difficult to recover files you've written over or modified, but it is technically possible. The only way to permanently destroy data on a Hard Disk 100% is to melt the sucker down, which is what most digital safe companies and people working with classified material do.

So if your trying to get back an old version prior to your editing, it is technically possible to recover most of it, but it wouldn't be worth the time and effort unless it was governmentsecrets.gif or blackops.gifI know deleted items can be recovered, but how about images from ';windows paint';?
Well if it covering or deleting was your last action then hit

ctrl + z (undo) and it should show back up.
