Why are my photos so big when I import them into Windows Paint?

in windows picture and fax viewer, your photos are displayed by the best fit, i.e. in the way u can preview them the best.

but in MS paint, the photos are displayed in the actual sizes, i.e. in resolution.

for example

your monitor might be having a resolution of

800 by 600

or 1024 by 768

and the photos that u have captured would be of more resolution

for example 2048 by 1536 or something like this. Hence the photos are displayed in the actual sizes, i.e. in their actual pixels.

generally, photos captured by a digital camera are of higher resolutions, than photos captured by a mobile..

Ms paint opens the photos to edit them, whereas Windows picture and fax viewer opens the photos foe best viewing. Why are my photos so big when I import them into Windows Paint?
MAY BE THIS WOULD BE THEIR ACTUAL SIZES. ALTHOUGH YOU CAN DECREASE OR INCREASE THE SIZE OF YOUR PHOTOS...
