ok i am into making my own backgrounds for myspace and stuff and i have a mac so i cant seem to find a mac equivalent of paint. what i need to know is what it is, is it safe, and where on the web to get it. thanks for your help =] Where can i get the mac equivalent of windows paint?
yeah, well i downloaded this cool thing from mac.com and it was called Paintbrush. it's works pretty much as well.

Photoshop or Gimp is all you need. Apple would NEVER lower itself to run MS Paint.
Photoshop costs $299 for the student version
Gimp is free.
Why is there no such thing as MS Paint for the Mac?
Why? Because Apple has standards and professional Mac users have always used Adobe Photoshop which IS the standard.
