How to remove window paint from the windows?

you know the paint stuff for kids that you make pretty pictures with, let it dry, then stick it on the window? well ive had some on my windows for a few years and i want them off now... but it wont come off. i know it would be better during the summer, seeing as its freezing out right now and the windows are cold, but i remember trying during the summer and it was still difficult to get it off. i got a tiny bit off with my nails, but im going to wreck them and it takes for eeever and does not guarantee success. How to remove window paint from the windows?
A Razor Blade. How to remove window paint from the windows?
I agree - a single sided razor blade is the way to go. Just make sure you always move the blade as if you are scraping and not cutting. You don't want to etch the glass and possible create a situation where the glass could break. Then you can clean as you normally would. Razor blades work good on anything that is glass-like: glass top ranges, microwave surfaces, enameled surfaces, such as those of your sinks, tubs, and toilets, etc. Sometimes newspaper can be used to clean a window to a super shine. That is an old trick. Hope this helps get you started. All the best, Rick and Kate
Use a razor blade scraper. It is safer than using the blade by itself. After scraping with scraper clean windows with good window cleaner to complete the job. These scrapers can be found just about anywhere, Walmart, Home Depot, Dollar General or Auto parts stores.
Try using a razor knife. You can pick these up at any paint or hardware store. They are a little unit about 1 1/2 '; wide that you put a razor blade in. They are perfect for scraping off paint and stuff from windows.
use a razor blade, you will not harm the glass.
