I have used latex, semi or high gloss when I painted windows but are you sure that the windows you bought need to be painted? Usually they are maintenance free especially now days. Once you paint them you have created yourself a job, I'm just trying to save you time and money, before you paint ask the supplier .

What is the best type of paint, oil or latex, to use on interior windows? I have horizontal sliding windows and am worried about them sticking where the painted surface of the sash contacts the frame.
